Position Overview:
Web Powerhouse, a dynamic Manila-based Web Agency focusing on international Webflow clients, is looking for a Junior Webflow Developer. Ideal for recent graduates or individuals with less than one year of professional experience. This full-time remote role is perfect for those keen to develop their skills in a supportive environment. This position requires flexibility, including availability for night shifts to align with our US-based clients.
Required Skills: What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with an understanding of layout aesthetics.
- Basic familiarity with Webflow & Client-first principles. Experience with other web design tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or WordPress is also valuable.
- Commitment to maintaining design consistency and quality by adhering to style guides and design systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Crafting web page layouts with a focus on responsive design, ensuring adherence to development standards for sections, containers, and page wrappers.
- Applying correct spacing principles to uphold design integrity and text readability.
- Emphasizing typography in design, using REM units for sizing to ensure cross-device consistency.
- Optimizing designs for various devices, avoiding overflow issues.
- Collaborating with design and development teams to convert visual concepts into functional online experiences.
- Engaging with internal teams on project tasks and company initiatives.
- Participating in inter-departmental collaboration for ad-hoc tasks.
- Completing the Webflow Certification Program within your first 30 days.
- Implementing responsive web designs using Webflow, adhering to modern CSS practices.
- Utilizing Webflow's CMS features for effective content management.
